Areas of focus

Where Dr. Martin goes deep

Relationships in high-profile careers

A public-facing career can make private life harder to protect. I work with people whose success is visible to everyone, but whose relationships and inner lives need more care than the spotlight allows.

Therapy for relationship challenges →

Pregnancy loss

Pregnancy loss is often grieved in silence. I offer a space to name what was lost, feel it fully, and find your way through it, on your own or with a partner.

Grief and loss therapy →

Culture, identity and family

The families and cultures we come from shape how we love, argue and see ourselves. Together we’ll explore those inherited patterns so you can keep what serves you and change what doesn’t.

About Dr. Martin

My approach: psychodynamic & Jungian depth therapy

Unprocessed emotional struggles often reveal themselves through symptoms such as anxiety, depression, feelings of emptiness, rage, chronic pain, or even the mistreatment of our bodies. These experiences can be rooted in early relationships that shaped how we learned to understand ourselves, manage our emotions, and connect with others. Over time, these patterns can become so familiar that we continue to repeat them without realizing why.

My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with self-understanding. Through a careful exploration of your early relationships and the internal world they helped create, we can bring into awareness the unconscious patterns that continue to influence your behavior, emotions, and ways of relating.

Therapy is a collaborative process for those seeking to reclaim agency and take greater responsibility for their lives. Together, we bring unconscious patterns into awareness, expand your capacity to experience and understand your emotions, and create greater freedom in how you respond to life and relate to others.
