Thriving Practice Consultation
for Therapists
Thoughtful consultation for therapists building sustainable, values-aligned practices.
What is Consultation?
Growing a practice isn’t just about filling caseloads—it’s about building something sustainable, ethical, and aligned with your values.
I offer consultation for therapists and practice owners who want support with hiring associates, scaling thoughtfully, and making confident business decisions—without losing the heart of their clinical work. This is practical, real-world guidance from someone actively running a group practice, not generic business coaching.
I’m a licensed psychologist and the founder of the Brentwood Therapy Collective. I originally came to this work through a deep interest in training and supporting high-quality therapists. What began as mentoring and teaching clinicians eventually grew—quite organically—into building a group practice designed around strong clinical standards, thoughtful systems, and humane leadership.
Today, I actively manage:
Licensed and unlicensed clinician hiring
Group practice systems and operations
Ethical decision-making around growth
The emotional realities of being both a clinician and a practice owner
I understand the tension between wanting a thriving business and wanting to stay grounded in good clinical care—and I consult from that exact intersection.
Who This Is For
This consultation is designed for therapists and practice owners who want support thinking through growth in a way that feels steady, ethical, and aligned.
It may be a good fit if you are:
A solo practitioner considering whether—and how—to hire your first associate
A group practice owner holding the complexity of growth, systems, and people
A therapist exploring associate or postdoctoral work within a group practice
Feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or stuck around an upcoming business decision
Wanting perspective from someone who understands both the emotional and practical sides of practice ownership
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Many people come in moments of transition, when questions feel heavier and clarity feels just out of reach.
This work is about slowing things down enough to make thoughtful decisions about your practice.
Consultation often includes support around:
Hiring associates or postdocs and thinking through structure, readiness, and fit
Building foundations that support both clinicians and clients
Growing a group practice without losing your values—or yourself
Clarifying your identity as both a clinician and a practice owner
Navigating leadership strain, team dynamics, and the emotional weight of growth
Talking through complex or ambiguous business questions unique to therapy practices
If you’re asking, “What’s the most responsible way to handle this?” or “Am I missing something important?”—this space is for that.
